I am so grateful to all of you for joining us today in honoring and supporting these remarkable dancers. Their dedication each week to developing their strength and confidence as performers has been truly commendable, and we take immense pride in their growth and achievements. We are so proud of them and know you will be too!
This season our focus is rooted in gratitude. We are bringing attention to the many blessings, large and small, that are part of our daily lives and taking time to hit pause and acknowledge how truly grateful we are for all of life’s little joys, even when moments seem challenging.
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” Thessalonians 5:18
As with each season in life, there are ups and downs. The amount of gratitude I feel towards the ND leaders and staff as they hold the ship together is so so deep. As you walk through life and age in years, you can’t help but feel more appreciation for everything around you. I believe in my heart of hearts the only way to keep that gratitude and joy amongst the storms is walking with Jesus.
My prayer for our dancers this season is that they will be conscious and appreciative of the most simple things, and thank God for daily blessings, including family, friends, and safety. Thank Him for guidance, strength, and the incredible community that is Nebraska Dance.

Honoring the Generations that Came Before Us
At ND, we have always celebrated each unique dancer, family and journey and value how we come together to make our community what it is today. Each of our lives are impacted by loved ones, parents, grandparents, mentors; those that have gone before us and have shared their life wisdom and encouragement. This year, we are inspired to have both our theme for the year and our annual benefit concert express gratitude, especially for these people and lessons they have shared. We look forward to elevating their stories within the Nebraska Dance community.
Our 2025 Benefit Concert, Carnival for a Cause, will be an effort to honor our loved ones and raise awareness for the many support systems that are available as our family members age. Rather than target one individual organization, we will strive to make a unique impact on various organizations and people in our community. If your family has been impacted by resources, communities, or specific caregivers in Omaha, we ask for you to share so we can honor them this season as they care for the older generations.
We look forward to learning about the programs available to help our family members, but most importantly, we look forward to bringing gratitude, love and joy to as many as possible. Join us, as we honor and celebrate the generations that came before us this year!

One of our favorite things is getting to walk alongside you during this pinnacle year, of your school age years and dance journey. Some of you, we have only known in recent years, and others we have had the opportunity to watch you grow up within our walls. Every single one of you is a treasure God has beautifully crafted, and we are so thankful you have allowed us to be a part of your journey. I hope you know that we are in awe of who you have become, and we are grateful for the imprint you have left on Nebraska Dance.
Our encouragement to you is no matter whether your next ambition takes you through hills or valleys, lean on lessons from your dance journey to help you take each step. And most of all, keep your eyes fixed on the beauty God wants you to experience each day
